[Untitled] Jazz Project is a dynamic ensemble featuring Bradford on bass, Elena on piano, Sophia on violin, David (‘Little Sax’) on alto sax, Annie also on alto, Kaylee on tenor sax, Jeremy on drums, and Greg on clarinet. Formed from the core of a now-defunct community orchestra, the group has been honing their craft and pushing musical boundaries for over a year. Led by Bradford’s vision of ‘non-standard jazz,’ they transform non-jazz pieces into fresh, innovative jazz interpretations.

The band’s vision is to bring a unique flavor of jazz to diverse audiences, from jazz festivals to unconventional venues like Comic-Con and Sakura-Con, where fans can groove to jazz renditions of video game and anime themes. At the same time, they introduce these vibrant, contemporary influences into traditional jazz clubs, offering audiences a fresh perspective on the genre. Ultimately, [Untitled] Jazz Project strives to grow as musicians and create an unforgettable, fun experience for their audience.

The musicians

The Band

Sophia - Violin

At just 16 years old, Sophia is already redefining what it means to be a young jazz musician. Balancing high school with college courses as she works toward her Associate’s degree, Sophia brings that same level of drive and focus to every note she plays. A rare voice on violin in a jazz setting, she blends classical technique with fearless improvisation, crafting solos that are as thoughtful as they are daring. Her deep understanding of both musical worlds allows her to bridge the gap between tradition and innovation with style and grace.

Sophia comes from a musical family—her dad George is the band’s sound engineer, and her mom Elena holds it down on piano. But even with music in her blood, it’s Sophia’s relentless dedication and passion that set her apart. Whether she’s rehearsing for a gig, writing new material, or fine-tuning her tone, she pours her heart into the process. And when she steps into the spotlight? She makes it crystal clear: this isn’t just a hobby—it’s who she is.

About Us

Annie - Alto and Bari

Annie brings a deep well of experience and a sharp musical mind to [Untitled] Jazz Project. A dedicated performer since high school, she’s played with a wide variety of ensembles over the years, developing both the versatility and discipline that make her a cornerstone of any section she joins. As the newest member of the group, Annie wasted no time establishing herself as a driving force—anchoring harmonies on bari and soaring through melodies on alto with equal finesse.

What sets Annie apart is her precision. She has an ear for nuance and a knack for elevating even the smallest musical details, infusing every line with clarity, intention, and color. Whether she’s locking in tight with the rhythm section or taking a solo into bold new territory, Annie’s playing is defined by technical mastery and a deep respect for the music. Her professionalism, paired with an unshakable groove, makes her an essential voice in the band’s sound.

David - Alto

Don’t let his age fool you—at 16, David is the youngest member of [Untitled] Jazz Project, but he plays with the maturity, confidence, and musicality of someone twice his age. A standout soloist and improviser, David combines a deep understanding of chord theory with a sharp sense of melodic construction, crafting solos that are both technically impressive and emotionally compelling.

David currently leads the saxophone section at his high school, where he earned first place in solo and ensemble competition—a testament to both his skill and his leadership. As the younger brother of violinist Sophia, he’s grown up immersed in music and continues to push himself to new heights with every performance. Whether he’s blending seamlessly into the ensemble or stepping out front to light up a solo, David brings passion, precision, and a relentless drive to grow as both a player and a musician.
